We are looking for experienced Telecoms Test Consultant with at least 3 years demonstrable test experience of CRM & Billing in a Telecoms environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in Test Automation tools such as TestDirector/WinRunner. Any exposure to Mediation and Interconnect is a bonus.
The Test Consultant will undertake the following key tasks:
- Produce/interpret/execute complex test plans to test the acceptability of the new and changed applications against the defined acceptance criteria
- Support all aspects of the UAT testing projects through the full test life cycle including post deployment and verification activities
Use test plans, systems documentation, business requirements and acceptance criteria to produce test scripts in preparation for test execution
- Responsible for automation of test cases and implementation of test Drivers and their maintenance.
- Responsible for maintaining Test environments to include software updates, patches, configuration for environment variables, system parameters, and database maintenance
- Managing software defects in line with project priorities liaising with Project Managers, development team leaders and Clients.
Technical Knowledge and Skills:
- Full life cycle testing experience within a structured testing environment (ideally V-Model).
- Good knowledge of Unix, Oracle, SQL
- Good knowledge of Test Automation tools (e.g. TestDirector, WinRunner etc.)
- Working knowledge of software Defect Tracking tools
- Strong background in software testing within Unix environments and have a thorough understanding of test tools.

We are looking for Application Support Analysts to perform a variety of tasks. The role involves participation in the complete life cycle of support issues from call logging, initial investigation, recreation, SQL scripting for data solutions, testing and liaison with the clients regarding delivery of fixes. Key tasks include:
Initial investigation:
- Examining relevant log files stored on Unix server
- Recreating issues on a test system
- Running SQL queries against Oracle database to extract data

We seek an individual with relevant experience to carry out the role of network administrator. The candidate should be an outgoing communicator, with the drive to deliver excellent service to Cerillion staff. Our product portfolio includes both retail and wholesale billing solutions utilising a variety of Microsoft, UNIX and Oracle products.
The key tasks that the individual will be expected to undertake:
- Configure & Setup Wintel/Unix servers and networks from new to functional
- Daily user administration in Active Directory / Exchange / Unix / Oracle / SQL / File & Print
- Log, track and resolve issues raised by Cerillion users
- Provide technical resource in ongoing/new projects
- Configure and manage of laptops and desktops
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of Microsoft based applications

The role involves the co-ordination and execution of product builds and releases within the product development group. The Build Engineer also acts as a liaison between the different functional groups with Cerillion including Support Services, QA and Implementation with respect to release versions and environmental configurations.
Responsibilities:
- Build software releases for delivery both to external customers and internal to Cerillion, keeping all parties involved updated with build progress. A build will consist of creating release labels, building code, creating release documentation, supplying database upgrade scripts etc.
- Understand the different supported platforms, operating systems and client requirements with regard to software delivery.
Organise release notes, database upgrade scripts, build requests, and build logs.
- Manage assigned defect fixes for inclusion within releases.
- Understand product branch strategy.
- Escrow deposits.
- Perforce access and monitoring of code submissions, integration and general queries.
- Define, publish, maintain, and communicate release schedules across all of Cerillion’s products.
- Define and maintain the master product release schedule.
- Define and track release milestones.
- Communicate schedules to development, implementation, customers, and other interested parties.
- Coordinate activities with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Customer Services, Marketing, Sales, Product Development, Product Management, and customers to ensure a smooth and trouble-free roll out of releases.
- Provide new and innovative ideas to create process efficiencies.
- Lead efforts to improve release processes.
Requirements:
- BE or MS in engineering or computer science.
- Minimum 4 years experience in software development with 2 years in release management capacity in a complex environment.

You should have a minimum of 5 years experience in software development. You should have spent at least the last 2 years in a technical leadership role, preferably within the telecoms industry. You should have progressed into this leadership role from a hands-on software development position on which you should have at least 4 years experience. You should have a good bachelor of engineering (or equivalent) degree.
Fluency in verbal and written English is essential as is the ability to express your thoughts clearly and effectively. The ability to supervise a group of developers and provide technical leadership is essential, as is experience of project management. Other skills should include proven analysis and design experience and some experience in writing code on the following: C, Java, C#, ASP.NET, XML, SQL, Oracle or other RDBMS. Knowledge of CRM and Billing solutions would be to your advantage in the application process.
