O2 Germany head of application delivery joins Cerillion

Convergent CRM and Event Based Billing specialist, Cerillion Technologies, has appointed Suvash Biswas as Chief Technology Officer. Suvash has had a long experience in the design, implementation and operation of CRM and billing systems. Most notably, at O2 Germany and elsewhere, Suvash has been responsible for delivery of complex tier 1 CRM and Billing applications, 3G architecture, corporate level cost reduction programmes, outsourcing and off-shore software development.

Said Suvash Biswas: I have been impressed with the Cerillion success in delivering the billing and customer care solution for the world’s first live UMTS network at the O2 network on the Isle of Man. Naturally this was a project that I followed with a considerable degree of interest whilst working for O2. More recently, however, Cerillion’s new developments with their .NET based CRM portal and rules driven mediation, in combination with their recent breakthroughs into new markets such as the USA, demonstrate that this is a company which provides the capability for fast track product launches as a compliment to existing legacy stacks, as well as providing a powerful end to end solution for those needing a true and effective “shrink wrapped” solution.

I am also particularly excited by the prospect of working with leading network operators to direct the product development to serve their real needs in IT, Customer Services and Billing, within the timeframes and budgets demanded by Product Marketing and Finance. Specifically, I want to develop the natural appeal of rapid roll-out capability for mass market segments and of extreme flexibility for the corporate market segments.
