Network Inventory

Optimise Your Network

Cerillion Network Inventory is an integrated copper and fibre network inventory system for next-generation fixed networks.

Cerillion Network Inventory is an access network inventory solution developed exclusively for telecoms companies and pre-integrated with the Cerillion product suite. Designed to model the copper and fibre access network (local loop) and support the business functions of a modern telecommunications company, networks are modelled accurately and flexibly from within the exchange all the way to a customer's equipment. It models the entire physical network, both inside and outside plant, supporting multiple communications technologies and equipment from multiple vendors.

Network Inventory delivers key business benefits:

  • Streamlining business processes

Network Inventory reduces the amount of time required to perform order fulfilment actions such as providing services and fixing faults. Time is saved at all levels – from the routing and records staff to the engineers. Unnecessary engineer visits are eliminated and if an engineer really is required to attend an external network element or a customer’s premises, they can be sent with accurate routing information to hand.

  • Integration and connected records

Network Inventory is built on modern technology and can provide services to external applications. This means that its information can be shared with other systems in a business, such as Cerillion CRM Plus, helping to reduce manual inputting and improving information availability.

  • Revenue assurance and network records validation

Because of Network Inventory’s structured approach, it helps to clean network records as it is used. External records such as from switch equipment and the billing system can be used by automated Network Inventory tools to cross-check service information. This allows the system to automatically fix routing errors such as misallocation of equipment and also raise exceptions for any services which do not exist in all systems.
