Essar Telecom Kenya (yuMobile) Strengthens Partnership with Cerillion
London, 2nd May 2012 – Cerillion Technologies, a leading provider of next generation customer management systems, today announced a major contract extension with Essar Telecom Kenya (yuMobile), a unit of Essar Group, to support yuMobile’s impressive growth and future business plans. This new agreement builds on more than three years of successful partnership following the express implementation of Cerillion’s CRM Plus, Service Manager and Interconnect Manager systems to support yuMobile’s launch in November 2008.
Cerillion is helping yuMobile to deliver a compelling customer experience through its innovative and intuitive CRM Plus product which is specifically designed and streamlined for the management of telecoms services. In addition, the ease of use and operational efficiency of the Cerillion systems has enabled yuMobile to achieve a very low IT OPEX, which has been crucial in helping them to compete in the highly competitive Kenyan mobile market.
Speaking as the contract was signed, Essar Telecom Kenya’s Country Manager, Madhur Taneja expressed his delight at extending the strategic partnership with Cerillion: “Cerillion systems have played a crucial role in our successful first three years of business and continuously demonstrate their adaptability to the dynamic nature of our business whilst always delivering on their commitments.” He added that “as yuMobile moves into the next stage of growth, it is crucial to have strong partners, like Cerillion.”
