Cerillion Technologies and Tele2 Team Delivers Rapid Rollout

London, 15th August 2003 – Convergent CRM and Event Based Billing specialist, Cerillion Technologies, has successfully implemented the Cerillion system for Tele2 Lithuania in 12 weeks from project start-up to go live.

The project team involved consisted of staff both from Cerillion Technologies and Tele2 Estonia.  This has resulted in the rapid migration of over 300,000 Tele2 Lithuania subscribers onto a system that will also support the existing Tele2 Estonia subscriber base. The total system supports both fixed wire and mobile services for over 500,000 subscriptions.

Said Jez Rudkins, Cerillion Services Director:  “I am delighted with the rapid progress which has been achieved on this project. The approach of defining a work share between experienced implementation staff from both Cerillion and Tele2 Estonia on the Tele2 Lithuania project has undoubtedly been central to the success of this project.”

Mart Nielsen, CIO / CTO Tele 2 Baltics, said:  “This indeed is a great pleasure to see us having successfully taken the first step in our strategic plan to homogenize Tele2 Baltic postpaid fixed and mobile subscribers into a common billing platform. The migration was accomplished in a very short time and I am overall very satisfied about the well working co-operation between Cerillion and Tele2 implementation teams.”
