Cerillion is a leading provider of billing, charging and customer management systems with more than 25 years’ experience delivering its solutions to the telecoms sector.

We are seeking a technically strong and experienced Infrastructure/Security Manager to lead our IT operations and cybersecurity initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical expertise with leadership capabilities, driving our IT strategy and ensuring the scalability, security, and high performance of all IT systems and services.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the Global Infrastructure team.
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable IT infrastructure.
  • Leading IT projects, network upgrades, and enterprise application deployments.
  • Configuring and managing server and network hardware, virtualised infrastructure, Active Directory, Windows and Linux systems.
  • Administering firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint security solutions, ensuring zero-trust security models.
  • Implementing and enforcing cybersecurity best practices (ISO 27001, CE+, CIS benchmarks), including endpoint protection, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and incident response planning.
  • Office 365, Exchange Online, and SharePoint administration.
  • Deploying and managing backups, disaster recovery (DR) plans, and business continuity strategies.
  • Overseeing IT support operations, ensuring SLA compliance and service excellence.
  • Evaluating, recommending, and implementing ITSM tools and automation solutions to streamline IT operations.
  • Managing IT budgets, licensing, procurement.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as GDPR.
  • Preparing detailed technical documentation for systems, processes, and user training.

 

What we are looking for in our next Project Manager:

  • 10+ years’ experience of hands-on IT infrastructure and operations management.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Azure Active Directory)
    • Virtualisation platforms (VMware ESXi, Proxmox)
    • Networking including Layer 2/3 switching, routing, VLANs, VPN.
    • Cloud environments (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure) – deployments, architecture, cost optimisation.
  • Proficient in backup and disaster recovery technologies.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and tools (EDR, SIEM, MFA, PKI, DLP).
  • Nessus VAPT reporting and remediation.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Critical thinking, analytical problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Desirable 

  • Microsoft Certified Professional.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate / Professional.
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
