Cerillion is a leading provider of billing, charging and customer management systems with more than 25 years’ experience delivering its solutions to the telecoms sector.
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Consultant to participate in Cerillion system deliveries and provide post go live consultancy services to our customers. The Cerillion Enterprise BSS/OSS provides an end-to-end CRM and Billing solution for our worldwide client base. This is a central client-facing role, requiring an ability to guide the customer through the complex process of business transformation, and rewarding you with the satisfaction of providing our clients with a first-class service.
A successful candidate will have relevant experience in Customer Care and Billing for telecoms and be able to demonstrate ability to carry out requirements analysis and writing detailed specifications. You should also have experience of some (or preferably all) of the following areas:
- System configuration
- Data migration
- Development & execution of test specifications
- System installation and end-to-end delivery

Key responsibilities include:
- Working as a dedicated project team member on allocated projects.
- Reporting to the Project Manager of the allocated project.
- Providing general business consultancy in the BSS domain.
- Gathering of requirements in direct collaboration with the customer.
- Documentation of requirements according to Cerillion standards.
- Achieving agreement and sign-off of requirements with the customer.
- Attending the necessary client meetings and workshops.
- Attending all internal project meetings.
- Supporting in estimation of requirements and change requests.
- Designing solution approaches for specific requirements.
- Raising of development requests in JIRA.
- End-to-end monitoring and support of the development, configuration and testing of requirements under her remit.
- Carrying out system configuration tasks.
- Development and execution of test specifications where needed.
- Supporting the customer during integration testing and user acceptance testing
- Triaging and analysis of issues raised during testing.
- Liaising closely with other internal Cerillion departments (Development, Testing, Environment Management), as well as the customer in supporting issue resolution.
- Mentoring and supporting other junior project team members.
- Any other tasks the Project Manager deems necessary for the achievement of stated project goals.
What we are looking for in our next Project Manager:
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent); minimum of 2:1 in a technical subject.
- 3+ years’ experience in the telecoms industry.
- Knowledge of CRM & Billing systems.
- Requirements analysis and production of specifications.
- Billing system configuration (preferably telecoms).
- Billing Project Implementation experience (preferably telecoms).
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Flexibility.
- Well organised and self-motivated.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel approximately 50% of the time.
Desirable
- Knowledge of Oracle Database.
- Basic knowledge of Linux command line.
