Cerillion Product Forum – March 2022

Product Forum 2022

Cerillion’s first Product Forum of 2022 offered our customers an exclusive preview of the new features coming in our next product release and set out the roadmap for upcoming updates during the year ahead.

The latest Cerillion Product Forum took place last week, bringing together a wide range of representatives from our customer base around the world to see the latest updates to our product suite, and to have their say on future developments.

As always, the forum provides our customers with an in-depth look at the newest features of Cerillion ahead of the next 6-monthly release later this month, plus further planned developments for the following 12 months.

Following a brief intro from Richard Doughty, Cerillion’s Business Development Director, it was over to Brian Coombs, Product Director, for the roadmap of these planned and proposed enhancements.

At Cerillion, we strive for a constant cycle of innovation and ongoing modernisation of our product suite. At the heart of this strategy are four guiding principles: a pure product model, focused on configuration not customisation; optimising different delivery and deployment options with a cloud-neutral architecture; using industry standards for ease of integration, maintenance and upgrades; and usability, ensuring our products are intuitive and straightforward to use for an increasingly digital-native customer base.

Following Brian’s roadmap was an update on recent architecture changes, courtesy of Group Solution Architect, Andrew Torrance – in particular, on the use of TM Forum Open APIs. These APIs are being built as a core part of our product suite, not as an afterthought, with all our APIs being used both internally for screen presentation and communication between Cerillion components, as well as externally for integration with third party systems. Andrew announced how we have recently completed TM Forum certification for two Open APIs, and have an on-going programme to continue this process on a rolling monthly basis.

Closing off the forum was Brian’s demonstration of the latest configuration features available in the upcoming release. With changes to our technology stack, the ability for customers to tailor the user experience and streamline their business processes has been greatly expanded – all without the need for any code changes.

“The product forum is always a highlight in the Cerillion calendar,” said Brian. “It’s great to be able to showcase the latest product version and receive direct feedback from our customers, helping us to prioritise the next round of changes and updates to our product suite.”

With in-person customer forums set to return this summer, we will nevertheless be continuing with our six-monthly online meetings too, ensuring the maximum visibility and transparency of our roadmap for customers all around the world.

If you were unable to attend this Product Forum, speak to your Cerillion account manager for more information on attending future meetings.
