Cerillion returns to MWC Barcelona 2022
Cerillion is back for this year’s MWC Barcelona, one of the biggest annual events in the telecoms industry’s calendar. Be sure to join us there, in person or virtually, to talk telecoms and tapas!
After a two-year break, we are delighted to be returning to the GSMA’s MWC Barcelona, taking place from 28th February to 3rd March, where you will find us in Hall 7, Stand 7B61.
For over thirty years, MWC (in its various guises) has been a banner event for the telecoms industry, with previous editions seeing over 100,000 delegates from across the telecoms sector descending on Barcelona for the four-day event.
After its 2020 event was cancelled mere weeks before it was due to kick off, due to the unfolding coronavirus pandemic, and then a low-key event in 2021, the GSMA is reporting a return to form this year, with attendance “not far from” pre-pandemic levels.
Visitors from 165 countries can expect the usual packed agenda of networking and thought leadership, including 1,500 exhibitors – from disruptive start-ups all the way to telco industry incumbents – and keynotes from 1,000 industry experts on a range of subjects, including 5G, artificial intelligence, the cloud, fintech, smart industry and the Internet of Everything.
As much as these topics though is the focus on Reconnecting an Industry and Community, and how the ever-expanding digital ecosystem can provide resilience to the global COVID-19 recovery effort.
As such, in accordance with local health guidance, attendees will need proof of vaccination, a negative test result or a valid certificate of recovery, and to complete daily health declarations. And for those unable or still reluctant to attend in person, they can watch speakers online and network with other guests remotely via hybrid attendance.
