Cerillion Customer Forum 2025: innovation in action and a thriving community

Customer Forum

The latest Cerillion Customer Forum offered our clients a look-ahead to features of upcoming product releases, plus some great debates and discussions. We look back at two days of telecoms talk in London.

Cerillion’s annual Customer Forum once again proved to be the heartbeat of our customer community; two inspiring days in London filled with fresh ideas, open collaboration, and a shared passion for shaping the future of telecoms.

Held at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Leicester Square, the Customer Forum underscores Cerillion’s commitment to customer success, innovation, and open dialogue, showcasing the company’s evolving roadmap, product innovations, and the strength of its user community.

Connecting ideas, inspiring change

From the opening welcome by CEO Louis Hall, to lively discussions with customers and industry experts, the theme of partnership ran throughout the event. Together, we explored how innovation, openness, and co-creation continue to drive success not just for Cerillion, but for every member of our growing community.

Our guest speaker, Andy Tiller of TM Forum, set the tone early with a thought-provoking look at how digital maturity and industry transformation are rewriting the rules for telecoms. This spirit of evolution continued through product updates, roadmap previews, and interactive sessions that gave customers a direct voice in shaping Cerillion’s direction.

Celebrating customer success

A highlight of the forum was recognising the incredible achievements of our customers at the inaugural Cerillion Awards:

  • OpenNet received the Trailblazer Award for its bold, open-access model that’s transforming the fibre broadband market across Europe.
  • Virgin Media Ireland earned the Spark Award for its headless BSS architecture, delivering agility and rapid innovation.
  • Norlys took home the Shooting Star Award, showcasing exceptional progress in its transformational journey with Cerillion.

Each story reflects the same spirit that defines this community – forward-thinking, ambitious, and collaborative.

Innovation without boundaries

The Cerillion Innovation Labs session offered an exciting glimpse into emerging technologies, from experimental AI concepts to next-generation product enhancements. Customers also shared their own ideas and wish lists, reinforcing how the forum is a two-way collaboration, where feedback becomes action.

Panel sessions and discussions on topics including containerisation, AI and DevOps demonstrated how Cerillion and its customers are jointly navigating a rapidly changing technology landscape. And beyond the main agenda, conversations continued over dinner and networking, strengthening relationships that go far beyond the product itself.

Looking ahead

From innovation to collaborative design, to shared success stories, the Customer Forum captured what makes Cerillion special: a partner-driven community that’s building the digital future together. If you missed out on the conversations, innovations and opportunities at this year’s event, join us next year and be part of the journey.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to two days of learning, laughter and inspiration.

We’re already looking forward to welcoming you to the next forum. If you’d like to learn more or get involved, reach out to your Cerillion Account Manager – and join the growing community driving the future of BSS/OSS innovation.

Our Award Winners in full

The Trailblazer Award (Customer Innovation)

OpenNet has completely redefined the telecoms market in Denmark through a bold and disruptive business model that challenges the traditional vertically integrated operator landscape. By bringing together fibre networks from multiple operators and opening them up to multiple service providers, OpenNet has created more competition, more choice, and better value for customers.

But their innovation doesn’t stop there. OpenNet is now expanding into Germany, proving that their model isn’t just successful, it’s scalable.

From a technology perspective, OpenNet’s leadership in BSS/OSS integration, automation, and partner management sets a new benchmark. They’ve shown how vision and technical excellence can come together to transform markets – not just in Denmark, but across Europe.

The Spark Award (Transformation Champion)

Virgin Media Ireland has embraced a modern, headless BSS architecture, separating the front-end experience from back-end systems, and, in doing so, they’ve unlocked incredible agility. This transformation allows VMIE to launch new products faster, deliver seamless omnichannel experiences, and respond to market changes with speed and confidence.

By moving away from legacy, monolithic systems, VMIE has built a future-ready, modular platform, reducing release cycles, improving efficiency, and paving the way for continuous innovation. Their success in Ireland sets a powerful example for telecom operators everywhere looking to modernise and move boldly into the digital era.

The Shooting Star Award (Rising Star)

Norlys has made an extraordinary start to its Cerillion journey, consolidating and transforming its operations at remarkable speed. They began by uniting broadband and TV customers from three legacy systems onto a single, streamlined platform.

Now, they’re extending this success by migrating their coax base, and even integrating Telia Denmark’s mobile business onto Cerillion, making the platform the foundation of their entire business.

In just a short time, Norlys has demonstrated ambition, and a clear vision for a convergent future.
